Talent Navigator® is a sophisticated career planning tool, capable of supporting many different designs of organisational frameworks, role profiles, progressions, teams and departments to suit how your business and your people are organised.
Talent Navigator® helps the end user to create and 'store' multiple career paths – either by building a path role by role or by generating potential maps based on the organisation's paths already in place.
It contains a fully customisable work style/preferences questionnaire so employees are able to better understand the 'hard' factors about a role such as skills and qualification as well as an assessment of what a potential role might be like day-to-day and what other benefits the role might bring.
Using Talent Navigator® allows users to identify their own skills gaps whether this is in competence, task/activity and then to use those as development goals for a career planning review. The powerful search facility identifies roles that develop specific skills and, if needed, can link to job boards to identify matching vacancies.
With pre-made – and customisable – role profiles included, you and your users can be up and running with Talent Navigator® quickly.
Every user has an 'About Me' tab that contains their up-to-date skills profile. The end user is able to create and save multiple career paths – either by building a path role or by generating potential maps base on the organisation's paths already in place.
Easy to use search facilities help to find roles, save 'Favourites' and revisit multiple career plans quickly.
The Path Finder and Path Builder tools are easy to use allowing your users to explore new career paths, assess how long they might take to progress and determine what they would need to do to be a potential candidate for promotion. They can also see how they'll grow their skills – this is a key element of successful retention strategies. Relevant Development activities are highlighted and, when using Talent Advance®, they can add these activities as development goals in their Personal Development Plan.
The single Talent Management Portal means that users can access the career planning portal whenever they need to.
