Tori Lang - Business Psychologist

Tori LangTori brings over 6 years private consultancy experience, in addition to 4 years working within a global 'top 5' finance and advisory firm.

She has a reputation for building strong client relationships across a wide range of sectors including manufacturing, contact centres, architecture, law practices, financial services, housing associations and public sector including local government, police and NHS.

Her expertise as an occupational psychologist includes: Leadership and executive coaching, senior management development programmes, assessment and development centre design and delivery (to senior management and director level), design and implementation of competency frameworks, psychometric profiling, 360° feedback, stress management and wellbeing, and embodied leadership.

A graduate with a Batchelors degree in Psychology and an MSc in Occupational Psychology, she brings a friendly, innovative, pragmatic and commercially sensitive approach to her projects across both public and private sectors. Tori is a member of the British Psychological Society, the Association of Business Psychologists and she also holds certificates in Psychometric Testing (Level A and B).

Louise Simpson B.Sc. (Hons), M.Sc., C Psychol

Tori LangLouise is a practising Chartered Occupational Psychologist with over 14 years experience. She has worked as a consultant and in house for organisations, before setting up as an independent consultant 5 years ago.

Louise has experience in a wide range of industry sectors including financial, retail, telecommunications, media, insurance and both local and central government.

Louise specialises in the following areas:

  • Identification of high potential and talent within organisations
  • Design, facilitation and evaluation of assessment and development centres
  • Development and implementation of competency frameworks
  • Design and training in 360 degree feedback
  • Blended learning approaches to management development
  • One to one coaching and development of senior managers

She has also developed two bespoke tools to aid the development of managers including an online competency and 360-degree feedback system and an online management development programme.

Louise is a full member of the Division of Occupational Psychology within the British Psychological Society (BPS) and is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist. She holds her Level A and Level B Certificates in Occupational Testing and is trained to use a number of psychometric tools including the OPQ, HPI, 16PF, Neo PIR, HDS and Wave Professional Styles and Performance 360.

Rob Williams - Business Psychologist & Psychometric Analyst

Rob WilliamsRob is a Chartered Psychologist with 13 years' experience working with a wide range of commercial and public sector organisations.

He has extensive assessment delivery and design expertise, having delivered 100s of assessment centres and designed many assessment centre exercises.

Rob has worked on a multitude of assessment projects for a variety of private and public sector organisations. Having worked at several of the UK's leading test publishers, Rob also has specialist knowledge and experience in the design of psychometric assessments, including the publication of extensive validation studies.

Hannah Azizollah - Business Psychologist

Hannah is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and has worked in the area for 25 years as both an internal consultant and as an external independent consultant.

She worked internally with The Post Office and then BT leading teams of psychologists providing selection and assessment methods to the organisations. This involved development of tests, exercises, appraisals, training others in the use of them, evaluating and validating as well as acting as an assessor much of this time. She later became an internal OD consultant helping Operational Managers bring about change in the way their people were operating.

She has been working independently for over 12 years working in the broad area of change assessment and development with individuals, teams and whole organisations.

She works with a range of private and public organisations which include NHS (Trusts and National Organisations), DWP, BT, National Air Traffic Services, BNFL, American Express, Daimler Chrysler, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Camelot, and Starwood Hotels.

Helen Baron - Business Psychologist

Helen is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and a Chartered Psychologist.

She has published widely in the area of equal opportunities and psychometric issues and presents regularly in conferences in the UK and around the world.

She has developed over 100 original tests, some bespoke for companies and others for test publishers' portfolios These include measures of personality, motivation, competency and various facets of ability. Many use a traditional paper and pencil approach, but she has also created leading edge measures which take advantage of computer technology to provide dynamic tasks to measure reaction time, video clips to gauge responses to typical work situations or advanced psychometric manipulations to provide more accurate scoring. Many of the measures have broad application but some are tailored to specific jobs, such as air traffic controllers.

Helen specialises in the following areas:

  • design and development of psychometric tests, including computer based
  • implementation and audit of assessment processes
  • guidance training on equal opportunities matters including fairness and adapting assessments for people with disabilities
  • full Level A & B statements
  • research projects in work psychology
  • statistical analysis.

Alison Walker MSc, MA, BA

Alison has over twenty years experience as a line manager and as both an internal and external consultant.

Her main skills are in learning & development strategy, with deep experience in the fields of blended learning and learning technology.

She has been an invited speaker on this subject at numerous conferences, including CIPD Harrogate, CIPD HRD, Online-Educa in Berlin and the Future Work Forum at Henley Management College. She also has experience in developing and implementing performance management frameworks and processes.

Alison has a particular passion for delivering technology-enabled change. She spent many years at British Airways, leading the design and development of corporate and professional training and owning the eLearning agenda at British Airways from its inception to a point where it accounted for over a third of BA's substantial training programme, making savings in excess of £10M p.a.

Since becoming a consultant, she has used this know-how to the benefit of her clients in other companies and sectors, including Virgin Atlantic Airways and Wolseley UK plc.
