Ian’s career began in Information Technology. As a Computing Science graduate, he joined GE (USA) in research and development in 1989. A GE sponsored MBA programme, completed in 1996, guided the transition into European commercial roles. He became a Six Sigma ‘Green Belt’ leading improvements in European product performance.
He is a contributor to Human Capital Management magazine, the Best Practice Club and the Business Improvement Network.
Ian is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and professionally recognised as a Chartered Marketer. In his spare time Ian is a keen triathlete and musician.
Alex has over twenty years practical experience in the analysis, design, production, implementation and evaluation of bespoke L&D programmes for numerous UK and Global companies. He specialises in bringing about performance improvement through competence analysis, assessment and development, and sustained behavioural change. Alex also advises on the use of technology to enhance learning and performance.
Well known on the speaker circuit and a contributor to IT training and QL magazine, he is also a committee member of the e-learning network (ELN).
Alex is certified at Level A by the British Psychology Society. His spare time interests include drama, sport and photography.
Gordon has 30 year experience in the Learning and Development field working in both the private and public sectors.
Gordon's most recent full-time role was as Vice President for Training at American Express, Previously to that, he was Director of Global Learning Management for Vodafone where he established Vodafone’s virtual corporate university, the Vodafone Global Campus.
Gordon has long been regarded as a pioneer in learning and has held a number of learning related directorships and in January 2008, he joined the Board of ASTD (American Society for Training and Development).
Since 1988 he has presented at many national and international conferences on topics relating to learning, learning technologies and aligning learning to boost business performance.
